Today I did an easy four miles in the subdivision at lunch. It was in the 50s and quite pleasant for running. I threw some strides in also.
Discussion with Jim:
Me: I am going for a quick in the neighborhood. Do you want to go?
Jim: I am tapering
Me: Tapering for what?
Jim: For my next training run.
Me: You don't really taper for a training run.
Jim: I do.
