Snowball Series - Last Race

Today was the last race of the Snowball Series.  It was a four mile race at Jefferson Barracks.  The course was on asphalt trails which were quite hilly.  No big hills but a lot of up and down.  I have concluded that I am not good on hills.  I finished in 34:28 which averaged 8:37 mile pace.  This is not bad for hills.  I won my age group for today's race and also won my age group for the series.  I won a trophy and a small blender.

I liked this series because the races were each in a different park.  This gave me an opportunity to run in places I don't usually go.  We were fortunate with the weather this series.  In the winter you can get anything.  Today was about 25 degrees and windy.  We didn't have any super cold races or snow and ice.  I met my age group competition.  She was very nice.  I have met so many nice people through running.
