Today was a rest day or optional recovery run. I had a busy work day then Jim wanted to go out to eat and to the grocery store. By the time we got home I decided that stretching would do me more good than a short run in the dark.
I signed up for the Senior Olympics today. Each year I do all the running events and I pick something new. The first year I did shot put. Last year I did triple jump. This year I picked long jump. Now I need to watch some Youtube videos and figure out how to do it. The Senior Olympics is three weeks after the marathon. It will be interesting if I will be recovered and ready to run fast. The running events are between 50 meters and 1500 meters in length.
