I spent a week in Utah rafting the San Juan River. I did not run but I hiked from one to three hours each day including a 4 mile hike with an elevation gain of 1350 feet. I also did some squats and lunges plus I paddled a boat. The trail were rocky with some steep drop offs. For safety's sake I did not run. There were too many opportunities to break an ankle or something bad. I am anxious to get back to the training plan.
