Easy Three Miles

Today there was an easy three mile run on the schedule.  I considered skipping it and going for a walk instead but after sitting at my desk working all day I felt like running.  It was a nice easy run.  I feel strong and ready for the half marathon on Sunday.

A month or so ago I started making a list of all the things I need to take to Cincinnati for the marathon.  As I think of things I add them to the list.  I have not traveled for many races so I need to be prepared.  My list has necessities like shoes, socks and sports bra.  This weekend the half marathon is good practice because we are going to spend Saturday night downtown.  This will make Sunday morning less stressful because we won't have to drive and park.  It will also be a fun girls night.  I have friends who go an girls cruises and excursions.  I may be weird but I am more excited to have a girls race weekend than I would be to go on a girls cruise.  (I would prefer to have Jim on a cruise with me.)
