I have been very focused on the marathon plan and training. Today I realized that I am less than 5 weeks from the senior Olympics. Most of my senior Olympics events are running so I will be trained. However, I did sign up for shot put. I need to lift some weights and practice my technique. Since I do not own a shot put, I practice in my yard with a rock that is about the right weight.
Today was a rest day. I worked on arm strength and shot put technique.
