Strides in the middle

Today I got up and ran at 7am.  It was humid and muggy but not too hot.  I had a little  sprinkle of rain half way through but not enough to get me wet.

Today's workout was 4 miles easy with 4 to 6 strides.  Up until now I have been doing the strides at the end.  On Wednesday's workout #1 there was a warm up then the work out session and a cool down.  I realized that I feel much better when I have a cool down after fast effort.  Today I ran a 2 mile warm up.  Then I ran my strides.  After that I ran a 2 mile cool down.  I liked this better than doing the strides at the end with no cool down.
